It is reported that China Mobile will release the first version of 5G commercial product requirements next year, launch the first batch of pre-commercial terminals in 2019, and launch commercial products in 2020. In terms of 4G terminals, the white paper requires terminals to provide smoother Internet access speed, richer business experience, and closer to real communication perception. In terms of improving the speed of Internet access, China Mobile should further popularize carrier aggregation and high-order modulation. Among them, from March 1, 2018, 4G terminals must support dual carrier aggregation or uplink 64QAM; Terminals above 1500 yuan must support dual carrier and uplink 64QAM at the same time. From August 1, 2018, terminals must support uplink 64QAM. At the same time, China Mobile will gradually guide the gigabit rate-related capabilities. For example, from March 1, 2018, products above 3000 yuan must support downlink three-carrier aggregation; It is recommended to support three-carrier aggregation, downlink 256QAM and 4*4 MIMO at the same time. At the end of 2018, high-end products will fully support three carriers, 256QAM and 4*4 MIMO, and will be popularized for medium-priced products in 2019. In addition, China Mobile will also improve the edge rate and optimize the user experience. From December 1, 2018, mobile phones with a price above 3000 yuan must support high power. In terms of enriching business experience, China Mobile has launched 4G Intelligence, supporting Native RCS, built-in and fetion, palm business hall, 139 mailbox, migu video, and Caiyun, etc. And can provide 20G directional traffic. In terms of national roaming, terminals need to support at least five modes and ten frequencies, and terminals above 3000 yuan support five modes and thirteen frequencies.
In particular, it is worth mentioning that the message fee under 4G smart service is free, providing special services such as one card with multiple numbers and language messages, and giving 20G mobile targeted traffic packets for five special services every month.
